Open Learning Centre Learning is intended to all who prefer an individual approach when learning a foreign language, computing, or other materials. The learning process is carried out individually and autonomously with adapted library materials, modern educational accessories (computer, headphones, scanner, etc.) and professional assistance of reference librarians, counsellors, and mentors. A learning spot for autonomous learning at a given period should be reserved in advance. The learning in the centre is free of charge.

Each month we organize free workshops:
- Computer literacy for beginners and the intermediate level
- The selected foreign languages & Slovenian for foreigners
- Slovenian sign language
- Ten fingers touch typing
- Teaching to teach
The Centre also provides for other activities: monthly riddle, selection of monthly and annual partaker, and occasionally tea is being served. The Centre’s learning spots may be used for two hours daily.
Open Learning Centre is part of a network of centres for autonomous learning that has been set up as a result of the “Let’s Organize the Autonomous Learning” project, developed by the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education and financed by the Ministry for Education, Science and Sport.
